Geography 12






This unit looks at management and sustainability of resources. Topics covered include water, forests, energy, waste, fish, species extinction and land. Lectures, text information and student power point presentations will provide you with information needed to successfully understand these issues. It is essential you review your power point presentation and be ready to present on the assigned day. Please have a summary ready for your classmates.

During these last two weeks of classes you must prepare for the final exam by reviewing the course and the required readings. You can also go to the Ministry of Education's website and review the Geography 12 specifications, verbs used on exams, marking criteria for the essay and practice a sample Geography 12 exam. It is important you take time to do these things as it will improve your exam performance.

Throughout these next few days be prepared for quick in class quizzes assessing homework completion.
